It has been an enduring journey. Ever since its inception, Advance, rechristened Punjab Advance, has come a long way, chronicling the growth and development of the state. Along with its sister publications, Vikas Jagriti (Punjabi and Hindi), It has been a veritable mirror to the state’s journey through the times.
While taking an exhaustive look at the state governance, it has been our endeavour to incorporate varied shades of Punjab’s culture and ethos in the magazine.
In our effort to make it a complete magazine we have added new columns featuring literature, heritage, cinema and sports to lend divergence and colour to the magazine.
In addition we have been featuring a luminary of the region every month besides running a health and fitness column by Dr Ravinder Chadha, former physio-therapist of the Indian cricket team.
Two other regular columns that find place in the magazine are career n competition and current events and children’s corner for the tiny tots.
The edition always winds up with the column ‘Last Word’ where humour in personal life finds an expression.
It gives us a lot of pleasure to announce our entry into the website with the launch of the online edition.
We look forward to our readers’/viewers’ response to our online endeavour.
